The TIME7240 Vibration Tester is a professional multi-function vibration analysis instrument designed for advanced machine condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and fault diagnosis of rotating machinery. Designed for industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, and condition monitoring programs, the TIME7240 is ideal for analysing motors, pumps, compressors, fans, gearboxes, turbines, generators, bearings, and other critical rotating assets. Designed for Advanced Machine Diagnostics

Unlike conventional vibration meters, the TIME7240 combines multiple diagnostic functions into a single portable analyser. Three measurement channels (CH1, CH2 and REV) allow simultaneous vibration measurement in any two directions of the X, Y and Z axes while also measuring rotational speed using a high-accuracy photoelectric tachometer. This enables comprehensive analysis of machine vibration behaviour from multiple directions during field inspections.

The instrument supports five professional operating modes, including vibration measurement (AVD), real-time time waveform display, FFT spectrum analysis, continuous data sampling, and rotational speed measurement. Engineers can evaluate peak acceleration, RMS vibration velocity, and peak-to-peak displacement, while adjustable filter settings and real-time frequency analysis assist in identifying imbalance, shaft misalignment, bearing defects, gear wear, looseness, resonance, and other mechanical faults.

The TIME7240 stores measurement parameters, vibration waveforms, FFT spectrums, and rotational speed data for up to 50 inspection points, providing virtually unlimited historical records for each location. Continuous sampling for up to 20 seconds captures transient vibration events that may be missed by conventional vibration testers.

A bright 320 × 240 colour LCD provides clear waveform, spectrum, and measurement displays in both workshop and field environments. Measurement data, vibration waveforms, and FFT spectrum charts can be exported to a printer or analysed further using the supplied Dataview Software. The integrated lithium battery delivers up to 8 hours of continuous operation, while built-in self-diagnosis and configurable alarm functions immediately notify users when vibration exceeds preset warning limits.
