The TIME S201 Standard Pickup is a replacement stylus sensor designed for general surface roughness measurements with compatible TIME 322X Series surface roughness testers.
It uses a precision 5 μm stylus tip to trace the surface profile of a workpiece and transmit the measured displacement to the roughness tester. With a 400 μm measuring range and a low 4 mN stylus force, the S201 is suitable for routine inspection of flat and accessible surfaces in workshops, production facilities, quality-control departments and laboratories.
The S201 is the standard general-purpose pickup for common surface roughness applications. For specialised measurements involving deep grooves, small holes, curved surfaces or restricted areas, other compatible TIME pickup models may be required.
