The TIME5301 Leeb Hardness Tester is a professional portable Leeb hardness tester designed for fast, accurate, and non-destructive hardness testing of metallic materials. Suitable for manufacturing, maintenance, mining, quality control, and field inspection, the TIME5301 delivers dependable measurement performance while offering convenient data storage, integrated printing, and broad material compatibility. As a versatile Leeb hardness tester, it supports seven optional impact devices with automatic recognition, allowing users to select the most suitable impact device for different workpieces while the standard D-type impact device covers general-purpose hardness testing applications.
The TIME5301 Leeb Hardness Tester measures and converts between HL, HB, HRC, HRB, HV, and HS hardness scales while also calculating tensile strength for common metallic materials. Furthermore, automatic 360° impact direction recognition allows accurate hardness measurements in any testing position, including overhead inspections. With high measurement accuracy and excellent repeatability, the instrument is suitable for testing steel, cast steel, forged steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium alloys, brass, bronze, and copper alloys.

The matrix LCD display with backlight clearly presents measurement values, hardness scales, impact direction, and other essential testing information, making operation simple in both workshop and field environments. In addition, the instrument stores between 48 and 350 groups of measurement data, depending on the selected storage mode, providing convenient record management for routine inspections.
The TIME5301 Portable Leeb Hardness Tester also features programmable upper and lower hardness limits with an audible alarm for rapid PASS/FAIL inspections. Moreover, the built-in thermal printer allows instant printing of test results, while the RS232 interface enables data transfer to a computer for storage and further analysis. The rechargeable battery provides reliable operating time, and automatic battery status indication helps minimise downtime during field inspections.
