The PHB-200 Magnetic Brinell Hardness Tester is a compact portable Brinell hardness tester designed for accurate on-site hardness testing of large ferromagnetic steel components. Using a powerful magnetic mounting system, the tester securely attaches to steel surfaces, allowing one-sided testing without clamping or moving heavy workpieces.
Operating with a 187.5 kgf test force and a 2.5 mm carbide ball indenter, the PHB-200 performs Brinell hardness testing in accordance with ASTM E110 and ISO 6506-2. The integrated LED display provides real-time force and dwell time monitoring, while the illuminated test point allows accurate positioning for reliable measurements. When used with the optional MS-1 Brinell Indentation Measurement System, hardness values can be calculated quickly and accurately.
Weighing only 5.1 kg, the PHB-200 is one of the smallest and most accurate portable magnetic Brinell hardness testers available. It is ideal for field inspection of steel plates, pipelines, pressure vessels, molds, forgings, welded structures, and large heat-treated components where conventional bench testers cannot be used.
