The PHB-750 Magnetic Hydraulic Brinell Hardness Tester is a portable Brinell hardness tester designed for fast and accurate hardness testing of large ferromagnetic steel components without the need for clamping. Its powerful magnetic base securely attaches to flat steel surfaces, allowing hardness testing on heavy, assembled, or fixed structures that cannot be moved to a laboratory.
Using a 750 kgf hydraulic test force and a 5 mm carbide ball indenter, the PHB-750 produces larger, more representative Brinell indentations than conventional 2.5 mm portable testers, making measurements easier to read and improving testing reliability. The tester delivers measurement accuracy fully compliant with ISO 6506, ASTM E10, and ASTM E110, providing performance comparable to stationary Brinell hardness testers.
