▸Description

The TIME7217 2-Channel Vibration Analyzer & Dynamic Balancer combines vibration measurement, FFT spectrum analysis, machinery fault diagnosis and field balancing in one portable instrument.

Its dual-channel architecture enables simultaneous acquisition and display of two vibration signals, making it suitable for more advanced machinery analysis than conventional single-channel vibration meters.

The TIME7217 measures acceleration, velocity, displacement and acceleration envelope, with an acceleration frequency range extending up to 10 kHz. Acceleration envelope demodulation provides additional diagnostic capability for identifying vibration associated with rolling bearings and gearboxes.

For frequency-domain analysis, the instrument provides 400-line FFT spectrum analysis with Hanning windowing. For applications requiring greater frequency resolution, PC analysis software supports FFT resolution of up to 3,200 lines.

The integrated 1-plane and 2-plane field balancing function allows technicians to perform dynamic balancing directly on installed rotating machinery. The balancing process includes vector-graph guidance, trial-weight estimation, balancing-weight calculation and decomposition, with storage for multiple balancing data sets.

With dual accelerometers, tachometer measurement, data storage and PC analysis capability, the TIME7217 is well suited to predictive maintenance, rotating machinery diagnostics, vibration troubleshooting and field balancing applications.
