The TH721 Digital Vickers Hardness Tester utilises a closed-loop load cell control system that significantly improves test force accuracy, repeatability, and long-term stability compared with conventional weight-loaded systems. Automatic loading, dwell, and unloading ensure consistent testing conditions, while the digital measuring eyepiece automatically calculates and displays the hardness value after indentation measurement. Designed for Precision Vickers Hardness Testing
The integrated digital measuring eyepiece displays indentation length, test force, dwell time, hardness value, conversion scale, test number, date, and time directly on the screen for convenient operation. The high-quality optical system provides 100× and 200× total magnification with measurement resolutions down to 0.13 μm, enabling highly accurate indentation measurement across a wide range of engineering materials.
The TH721 supports Vickers test forces from 0.5 kgf to 50 kgf, making it suitable for testing ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, thin coatings, plated materials, ceramics, glass, gemstones, plastics, integrated circuit cross-sections, carburised layers, and hardened surfaces. Optional LCD video measuring equipment and a CCD automatic image measuring system are available for laboratories requiring higher testing efficiency and automated indentation analysis. Complying with ISO 6507, ASTM E384, and JIS Z2244 standards, the TH721 delivers dependable Vickers hardness testing for production, laboratories, and quality assurance.
