The TIME6167 Superficial Rockwell Hardness Tester is a premium automatic superficial Rockwell hardness tester designed for high-precision hardness testing of thin materials, surface-hardened components, coated workpieces, and precision engineered parts. Combining automatic test force control, intelligent touchscreen operation, high-resolution LVDT measurement, and advanced data management, the TIME6167 delivers fast, repeatable, and highly accurate superficial Rockwell hardness testing for manufacturing, quality control, research laboratories, and industrial inspection.
The TIME6167 Superficial Rockwell Hardness Tester supports all standard superficial Rockwell hardness scales, including HR15N, HR30N, HR45N, HR15T, HR30T, HR45T, HR15W, HR30W, HR45W, HR15X, HR30X, HR45X, HR15Y, HR30Y, and HR45Y. Furthermore, the instrument automatically performs loading, dwell, unloading, and test force selection using standard superficial Rockwell test forces of 15 kgf, 30 kgf, and 45 kgf with a 3 kgf preliminary load. Adjustable dwell time and automatic force switching comply with ISO 6508, ASTM E18, and GB/T 230-2018 standards, ensuring reliable and repeatable hardness measurements.

The 5.7-inch TFT touchscreen provides an intuitive user interface that displays hardness scale, test force, residual depth, maximum, minimum, average, repeatability, hardness conversion, tensile strength conversion, and real-time operating status. In addition, the innovative dolphin nose indenter enables accurate testing of curved, tubular, stepped, and other complex workpieces that cannot be measured using conventional superficial Rockwell hardness testers.
The TIME6167 Superficial Rockwell Hardness Tester incorporates a high-precision LVDT sensor with an outstanding resolution of 0.01 HR and real-time residual depth measurement from 10 to 700 μm. Moreover, the instrument stores more than 1,500 measurement results and supports data export via USB, micro printer, or computer for efficient quality documentation and traceability.
