▸Description

Professional Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The TIME2136 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a professional ultrasonic thickness gauge designed for accurate, non-destructive thickness measurement of metallic materials with or without protective coatings. Featuring advanced echo-echo (E-E) measurement technology, the TIME2136 measures the true metal thickness while automatically eliminating paint and coating thickness, making it an ideal solution for corrosion inspection, asset integrity management, marine maintenance, oil and gas, power generation, and industrial quality control. Using a dual-element transducer, the instrument delivers reliable thickness measurements without requiring coating removal, reducing inspection time and preventing damage to protective coatings.

The TIME2136 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge supports both pulse-echo (T-E) and echo-echo (E-E) measurement modes. Standard measurements cover steel thickness from 1.2 mm to 200 mm in T-E mode, while echo-echo mode measures coated steel from 3 mm to 20 mm without removing the coating. Furthermore, optional TSTU17 and TSTU32 transducers expand the instrument’s capability for measuring additional materials and thicker components. Automatic transducer recognition and manual probe frequency selection provide excellent flexibility for a wide range of inspection applications.

Designed for Corrosion Inspection

The backlit display provides clear thickness readings together with selectable resolutions of 0.001 mm or 0.01 mm for both precision measurement and general inspection. In addition, differential mode compares the measured thickness against a preset reference value, allowing operators to quickly identify material loss caused by corrosion, erosion, or wear.

The TIME2136 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge stores up to 500 measurement records for inspection documentation and trend analysis. Moreover, the integrated RS232 interface enables data transfer to a computer for reporting and record management. Programmable upper and lower thickness limits with audible alarms simplify PASS/FAIL inspections, making the TIME2136 an ideal ultrasonic thickness gauge for corrosion monitoring, preventive maintenance, and industrial asset management.
