▸Description

Professional Cast Iron Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The TIME2134 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a professional ultrasonic thickness gauge specifically designed for accurate, non-destructive thickness measurement of cast iron and other coarse-grained materials. Equipped with the specialised TSTU32 transducer, the TIME2134 delivers reliable ultrasonic measurements where conventional thickness gauges often struggle due to signal attenuation and scattering within cast iron structures. It is an ideal solution for foundries, mining, heavy industry, power generation, machinery manufacturing, and maintenance applications requiring accurate wall thickness inspection of cast components.

The TIME2134 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge measures standard steel thickness from 1.2 mm to 300.0 mm and cast iron thickness from 5.0 mm to 40.0 mm using the dedicated TSTU32 transducer. Furthermore, automatic zero-point calibration and two-point calibration minimise system errors while improving measurement accuracy across different material types and thickness ranges. Gain adjustment and programmable sound velocity settings provide additional flexibility when inspecting cast iron, steel, and other metallic components.

Designed for Cast Iron Inspection

The large backlit LCD with adjustable contrast provides excellent readability in workshop and field environments. In addition, the instrument offers both current thickness and minimum thickness display modes, allowing operators to quickly identify corrosion, erosion, wear, and wall loss in cast iron pipes, castings, housings, pumps, valves, and heavy industrial equipment.

The TIME2134 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge stores up to 500 thickness measurements together with five custom sound velocity settings for efficient inspection management and repeat inspections. Moreover, programmable upper and lower thickness limits with audible alarms simplify PASS/FAIL inspections, while approximately 100 hours of battery life and automatic power-off ensure dependable performance during extended field work. The supplied TSTU32 transducer makes the TIME2134 an ideal ultrasonic thickness gauge for cast iron inspection where standard probes may not provide reliable measurement results.
